It was a privilege to lecture on my work at the American Center on the campus of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology on Wednesday, June 6th. My host Jennifer Tarlin made it a most pleasurable experience. Here are some images from the lovely center, designed by an American architect influenced by Wright. Besides students and faculty, my old friend and the painter Yao Erchang attended as well as the Pottery Workshop Education Director and friend Dryden Wells. Jenny took us out to a terrific dinner at Madison’s afterwards. It was a wonderful day in Shanghai.
