I am settling into my residency at Red Lodge Clay Center,  Red Lodge, MT.  Montana is one of my favorite states. The mountains, the light, the animals, and more, make it a special place. I drove here from Florida,  taking time to visit with friends along the way.

A couple years ago I was asked to put together an Artist Invite Artist (AIA) group by David Hiltner, Director of Red Lodge Clay Center.  I chose colleagues that had worked in China before.  For this residency, the work is  “Made in the USA.”  I am here with Linda Lighton, Harris Deller,  Marc Leuthold and Joe Bova.

Here is a glimpse of my studio area and the AIA studio area we share.  It is a well run and equipped studio in a beautiful setting.  I will be documenting my time here until my road trip home starting June 19th.
