Xi’an – the start of the Silk Road Tour

Of course, we had to see the Terra Cotta Soldiers in Xi’an.  This was a repeat for me, but there were some new ones they are working on and had a new exhibit on the archeology of the dig.

Before the site, we visited the factory that makes the replicas.  There was a photo opp there. Overall, one has to admire the sculpting of the figures.  I particularly enjoyed the horses this time around.
